Scheduling happens only after your MCCQE Part I application has been reviewed and accepted. Once eligibility is confirmed by the Medical Council of Canada, you schedule your exam directly with Prometric within the available exam sessions.

This article explains how to schedule MCCQE Part I with Prometric in clear and sequential steps.

When MCCQE Part I Scheduling Becomes Available

Before scheduling, the following must happen:

  • Your application must be reviewed and accepted
  • You must receive confirmation of eligibility through your physiciansapply.ca account

Once accepted, you receive an Authorization to Test number which is required for scheduling.

Appointments may be scheduled five months before the start of an exam session and are available only within established exam sessions. Scheduling is offered on a first come first served basis.
